Environmental issues often overwhelm us; despite  their wide coverage in the media, the sheer scale of these problems often dampen our concern and hamper our desire to make a change. Here at A Greener Melbourne, we aim to personalise the broader challenges facing the community by giving the “small guys” a voice and telling their stories, which cover Melbourne and the surrounding area. In this manner, we hope to bring relevance and awareness to a local audience of how these problems are affecting people.  We want to generate more informed discussion and debate, and hopefully drive people to contribute their own efforts to tackle the most critical threats to society today.

We believe that the responsibility to care for the environment rest with every one of us. No matter where you live there are ways to get involved, whether it’s volunteering or choosing eco-bags at the supermarket. No effort is too small.
